a day of rest

After cramming the last week full of a lot of work and a lot of driving, we have finally arrived in Ohio.  Because of the competitive nature of this state, we plan on being here for about a week and a half (which is a really long time compared to how long we have spent in other places).  Since we have so much planned for the next 10 days, we decided to take today for ourselves so that we could take care of some odds and ends (washing and cleaning out the car, for example).  

We are at Jeremy’s house in Cincinnati now and I’m so glad to be here.  I am thoroughly enjoying not being in a hotel and I’m really looking forward to the home cooked meal Jeremy’s mom is making for us tonight.  Thanks again, Mr. and Mrs. Harrell, for letting us stay! Jeremy also took us to the infamous Skyline Chili for lunch.  I was a little skeptical at first … I wasn’t sure how good chili on top of spaghetti noodles could be, but it was actually delicious.
