Right now, we're headed to Springfield, OH to help State Senator Steve Austria’s congressional campaign.  We plan on spending a little time in the office before working at another county festival.  State Senator Austria hopes to replace the reitring Congressman David Hobson and we're looking forward to helping him do just that.

We've already been in Ohio for about a week – it has flown by yet it has been pretty tiring (in a good way).  Yesterday, we worked at the Butler County GOP Headquarters.  Butler County helped put George Bush over the top in 2004 and will be key to winning Ohio in November because it helps offset some of the more liberal parts of the state like Cleveland.  It felt really good to be giving what help we could to a county that will be so crucial in deciding our next president.  

On a lighter note, Kerry and I have started to notice that on most mornings of this trip, we are ready long before the boys are.  To be fair, Jeremy and Chris like to dispute that with illogical reasoning.  As a result, we’ve decided on extremely specific guidelines for what counts as being ready first.  This morning the girls came in first again after Chris was disqualified from second place for having to return to the house for a forgotten item.  I just wanted to put our female superiority on record … that’s all for now.
