We are lucky enough to be in Indianopolis the same day Congressman Dan Burton (IN-5) is hositing an energy forum in his district. Congressman Burton has been in the forefront of the battle against high energy prices and has been leading a bipartisan effort in the House of Representatives to introduce a comprehensive energy bill.
From our experience, high energy prices has been "issue number one" out on the campaign trail, so we are extremely excited to get to take part in this forum. Later this afternoon I'll post some of the highlights from the forum.
This evening we will be making phone call on behalf of Congressman Burton in Hamilton County. We will then return to the Bluegress State, Kentucky.

Have you ever heard of peak oil? We're already there...you will NOT bring oil prices down...you need to change everything about the way in which we do things. It can't be oil...it can't be based on higher or sustained amounts of consumption...
But you're following the red platform...so of course we're going to have irrational and illegitimate claims that if we claim we're working on the "energy crisis" while we have big oil in our pocket and as a continuous bedfellow...we can fool Americans into thinking that they can continue doing things the way we've been doing them...
We need the CFL lightbulb to go off above someone's head to realize that we're done with the dino-juice and the Republican kool-aid cocktail.
