The Color Red Symbolism

When we talk about cultures, like in China, red represents the color of happiness and prosperity and may also used to attract good luck. In South Africa, red is the color for mourning, and in the East this is usually the color worn by their brides. In Russia the Bolsheviks used a red flag when they overthrew the Tsar; as a result, red became associated with communism.
