Bio

Chris Caraballo was born and raised in Miami. Like many South Floridians, his parents were brought together by Castro when they both left Cuba at 12 years of age. Chris knew he wanted to make movies as a teenager. When he left to college though, his family insisted he attain a “real degree.” In school, he attained both a B.S. in Accounting and a Masters in Taxation. Within four years he had left the University of Florida, CPA Licensure in hand. He holds this degree in high regard for two reasons. It made his family proud. More importantly though, ever since joining the USC film school, he has realized it taught him more about making films than he could have ever imagined.
